Giovanni has obtained a BSc in Juridical Sciences (International Law) in 2003 and, in 2005, a Degree in Law from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

He currently works with the chair of Business Security and Organisation and the chair of Sociology and Security at the BSc in Investigative and Security Sciences of the University of Perugia.

Member of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (C.C.B.E.) of Brussels, he has gained professional experience in the legal and administrative fields working mainly for companies involved in the construction of public and private infrastructures. In that context he has overseen compliance with relevant legislation in cybersecurity and data protection.

Former member of the Italian Finance Police he is, since 2012, member and secretary of the Board of Arbitrators of the Italian National Association of the Finance Police (A.N.F.I.).

Co-founder and board member of the Center of Studies for Prevention, Investigation and Security (CE.S.P.I.S.).

From 2021 he is Vice-President and member of the Directive Council of Diplomatia and in charge of its Security and Defence Commission since 2019.

He is President and founder of the AssociationYourfuture-YF the “Association of youths for youths” which has been active for many years in the cultural and academic world.

Knight of merit with silver badge of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George since 2008.

Currently based in Rome he pursues his professional practice and voluntary work in Italy and abroad.
